Learning Kung Fu is so easy in China - it must be something in the air. No wait, that's just me channeling my inner Iron Monkey! Hwah!

Ni hao Evan! I love reading your blog -- and it's great that teaching is so much fun. (Nice when the students want to learn. no?) I miss you here in NYC but know that you'll have an amazing adventure. xxxooo Barbara

I recently graduated college (at age 37 which is a miracle) and now I can start to live. I am discovering how much I like Chinese culture and history, and how difficult the language is to learn. I definately have compassion for my students. I have a wonderful, gorgeous, and beautiful boyfriend who is a constant source of inspiration and frustration. "I love him so much, Ma."
Anyway, I enjoy new things, people, activities and experiences. I like to be challenged and enjoy sweating during athletic exercise. That's enough for now, more will be revealed...
